Artists - Ms. Diane Miller's Reading Group, Van Duyn School, Syracuse, New York. Drawings of some of the characters in Wooffer.

These are some of the pictures Ms. Miller's reading group drew of Wooffer after reading his stories.  I  laughed and cried when I got these pictures.  What a very special way for the class to tell me they enjoyed reading Wooffer!

Bullybeastie The Mayor

Had a meeting in the old town square

He said, "We must go!

We'll go anywhere.

He pushed kids in puddle,

Stole lunches from school.

He teased all their pets.

To be unkind was cool.

He travelled forever

And maybe a day.

When he finally found them

He pleaded to stay.

Prince Matthew was explaining to his two beautiful cousins

what happenend to their dear little friend who lived in the

town below the mountain.

They danced down the street.

They danced in the square!

They danced through the park.

They danced everywhere.

Up from the valley

They're coming in droves.

Some are all dressed

In their fanciest clothes.
